The Ritz-Carlton Cancun is ending its over 25-year affiliation with Marriott on September 1st. This means that guests who have Ritz-Carlton rewards cards will no longer be able to earn or use points at the Ritz-Carlton Cancun. However, Ritz-Carlton has stated that they will continue to honor reservations made before the affiliation ends. If you have any upcoming trips to the Ritz-Carlton Cancun, make sure to book them before September 1st!
We can confirm that The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun will cease operating under The Ritz-Carlton brand flag as of August 31st, 2022. The owner company and Marriott International continue to discuss next steps.
