The introduction of the Waikiki property coming in 2024 marks a significant step in this direction, but there were two additional resorts slated to join the City Collection in Marriott’s most recent announcement.
We’ve previously covered news of Marriott acquiring property in Charleston, South Carolina, and speculated that the resort would join the Pulse program. With this recent announcement, Marriott has confirmed the resort will join the City Collection sometime in early 2025, and bring anther 50-unit urban resort to the Marriott Vacation Club resort portfolio.
Also, a newly proposed development, which is scheduled to break ground in 2026, is poised to emerge in the vibrant historic downtown district of Savannah, Georgia. These new urban resorts will open new doors for timeshare owners seeking unique urban experiences in historically rich locales.
It is expected that these future resorts will be accessible using Abound Club points, the vacation currency of the Abound by Marriott Vacations program.
