Points charts are a vacation planning tool that is used to help timeshare owners determine how many vacation points are required to book a reservation at a particular resort, during a particular time of the year. This tool is usually resort-specific, meaning each resort will have it’s own distinct points chart that determines how many points it will take to book at that resort throughout various times of the year.
Each of the timeshare developers that utilizes a points-based reservation system will release points charts for each of the resorts within their vacation club. Not only can these points charts be used to plan vacations, but they can aid prospective timeshare buyers in determining how many points they might need annually to reserve the vacations at the resorts they wish to travel to, during the times of the year they wish to travel.
