For Hilton Grand Vacations owners, Open Season is the period of time where an owner can elect to pay a discounted rate in cash to book a last-minute reservation any unit type, at any HGV resort, during any season, without using their ClubPoints. The Open Season reservation window begins 30 days (or 1 month) prior to check-out, and as always reservations are based on availability.
By offering HGV owners the ability to purchase unreserved rooms for cash, Hilton is reducing the number of timeshare units sitting empty throughout the year, while allowing owners to take up to 35% off the nightly rental rates found on Hilton.com.
Owners are required to book a 2-night stay minimum, and all reservations must be made as early as 30 days prior to your checkout date and as late as one day prior to your check-in date. Rates can be as little as $79 per night (studio, Silver season, Monday – Thursday check-in).
