326 DVC Units Being Added To Disneyland Hotel
The licensing that was awarded to Disney mentions that they will be authorized to sell a total of 16,952 timeshare weeks, which means there will be an additional 326 units added to the Disneyland Hotel. These units will be available only to DVC members and will consist of approximately 271 Deluxe Studio villas, 38 two-person “pods”, about 19 One Bedroom Villas, 20 Two Bedroom Villas, and 2 Three Bedroom Grand Villas.
Details About Disneyland Hotel’s Third Tower
The Disneyland Hotel already features 2 existing towers, and this new 12-story tower is rumored to feature a design that will allow it to blend seamlessly into the existing structures.
The new DVC-specific tower will be built on the southwest side of the Disneyland Hotel, and an additional 300 new parking spaces will be added to satisfy the parking needs of the new DVC guests.
The Villas At Disneyland Hotel – Projected Opening Date
Disney has a projected opening date of sometime in 2023 but has not released any information about when in the year the project would be open to guests. If we look back at the past few DVC resort developments, we can see that we are most likely looking at an opening date that is late in quarter 4 of 2023.
